SCS Static Management Program (SMP)

SCS Power Relay for WS Aware Monitor

The SCS Power Relay is a four-outlet, relay-controlled power strip designed to extend the functionality of the WS Aware Monitor (models 770067 and 770068). Its outlet configuration—two normally off, one normally on, and one always on—gives users flexible control over workbenches, hand tools, and other equipment based on monitor status. Built for safety in sensitive work areas, it features 3 kV optical isolation, relay hysteresis, and de-bounce protection to eliminate shock hazards and prevent relay chatter. A 3600 W MOV and 12 A thermal circuit breaker provide surge and overload protection across a 90–140 VAC range.

SCS EM Aware Monitor

The SCS EM Aware Monitor tracks three critical indicators of ESD problems: ESD events, changes in static voltage field, and ionizer performance, with fully adjustable thresholds for each. Functioning as a miniature radio receiver tuned to the unique waveform of an ESD event, it detects and measures electromagnetic radiation generated by discharges—stronger events produce stronger signals. SCS Ground Master Monitor

The SCS Ground Master Monitor is an equipment ground continuous monitor that tracks the path-to-ground impedance and electromagnetic integrity of up to eight metal tool connections. Designed for use in semiconductor, disk drive, flat panel, and electronic equipment manufacturing environments, it provides both visual and audible alarms along with fuse protection on each channel. The monitor also detects electromagnetic interference (EMI) on connected tools, alarming on conditions that could cause equipment lockups or malfunction. Each unit is calibrated to standards traceable to NIST and meets the continuous monitor requirements of ANSI/ESD S20.20 per ESD TR53.

SCS Ion Pro™ Benchtop Ionizer

The SCS Ion Pro™ Benchtop Ionizer neutralizes electrostatic charges on insulators and ungrounded conductors with fast discharge times under 1.5 seconds at 12 inches and a ±3 volt offset, exceeding ANSI/ESD S20.20 and ESD TR53 limits. The unit continuously monitors its own offset voltage and discharge time, alarming if either exceeds defined limits. Steady-state DC emitters are spaced to prevent ion recombination and broaden coverage, while a dual-speed fan delivers consistent airflow. A stainless steel enclosure and multi-mount stand minimize contamination in clean environments, and patented capacitance-based sampling continuously adjusts output to maintain balance with minimal maintenance.
