Texwipe’s TX® 728 Pre-wetted Swabs provide precision cleaning specifically designed for optical components, combining a double-layer, nonwoven polyester fabric pre-saturated with high-quality methanol for effective, residue-free cleaning. Manufactured under strict cleanroom conditions, these swabs feature thermal bond construction and virgin polypropylene handles, ensuring consistent cleanliness, ease of use, and contamination prevention. Only sold in the USA.
Texwipe’s ESD-Safe Swab Series provides reliable electrostatic discharge protection through its patented Stat-Rite handle and thermal bond construction, which prevents contamination during precise cleaning tasks. Available in polyester, foam, and dual micro-tip versions, these swabs effectively absorb solvents and solutions, ensuring consistent performance in sensitive environments.

Lightweight, one-hand operation with a low-profile 7″ x 4″ swivel head that reaches inside isolators and other hard-to-reach places. Rounded edges clean corners without scratching surfaces, and the rapid-change system lets operators replace 100% polyester covers frequently to meet strict cleaning protocols.

The patented mophead fastens standard 9″ x 9″ and 12″ x 12″ cleanroom wipers with non-abrasive polyethylene clips — eliminating the need to qualify and inventory additional wipers or mop covers. The attachment method does not release particles or fibers, and the system may be sterilized by gamma irradiation, chemicals, VHP, or EtO. Available with 7″ and 11″ mop heads.

Cleanroom string mop hardware with a quick-opening, rapid-release clamp for easy head refill changes. Corrosion-resistant and autoclave safe, it works with Texwipe tubular string or strip refills (including Revolve™ sustainable refills) and pairs with Texwipe stainless steel bucket and wringer systems.
▲ Cleanest: least particles & fibers
▼ Most particles & fibers
The cleanest wiper you can buy. A visible sealed border about ¼” wide fuses the entire perimeter, locking edge fibers into the bonded edge.
Use it for: the most critical operations, and it’s safe in every environment.
Cut by laser or hot knife, so the melted edge traps fibers as it’s formed. You can’t see the seal, but you can feel it on the wiper’s edge.
Use it for: critical operations and everything below them.
The edge is simply cut, so fibers continue to release from it over time. It still qualifies as a low-lint wiper, especially when laundered.
Use it for: everyday cleanroom wiping where a sealed edge isn’t required.
Non-woven polyester, polypropylene, and polyester/cellulose blends. Cut-edge construction that still meets the definition of a low-lint wiper.
Use it for: economical, absorbent wiping in less critical areas.
Durable natural fiber with a cut edge. It sheds the most particles and fibers of any level on the pyramid.
Use it for: general-purpose tasks only. Never in compounding areas.
| How they compare | Polyester Wipers | Non-Woven Wipers |

*The one exception: skip QUATS and peroxide disinfectants with any wiper containing nylon, cellulose, or cotton.
Ratings from Texwipe’s Wiper Differentiation guide. Rule of thumb: polyester is cleaner and tougher; non-wovens soak up spills faster.
